Cobb County detectives continue to investigate the murder of a 23-year-old rapper Yung Teddy, a woman has been charged for sending the victim death threats only 24 hours before his murder has become a person of interest.
According to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, police arrested Yachari Kiyana Miller for alleged messages sent to Justin Mitchell. “You a dead man walking” and “This your year to die” were sent to the victim a day before he was found shot dead in his home in Austell.
Mitchell was hopeful up-and-coming rapper known as “Yung Teddy.” Shortly before his death, the young rapper posted on his Twitter account, revealing recent death threats he received.
Miller was arrested this past Friday for a felony count of terroristic threats and acts. She’s being held in the Cobb County Detention without bail.
Two suspects believed to be involved in the murder, however, are still at large. The first suspect is described as a black male, standing between 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, in his early 20s. He was wearing a black beanie cap, a grey sweater, and dark pants on the night of the murder. Another suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-5, wearing a navy bandana and a multi-colored beanie cap on the night of the murder.
