He branched off into films in 2010 with his documentary, “Crown Royalty: The History of Charlotte Hip-Hop,” about the Charlotte North Carolina hip-hop scene.

His current film, “In the mixx: Djs doing work” is about Djs in hip-hop. The film began production late 2010 and completed in 2012. Featuring appearances from Dj Green Lantern, Dj Greg Street, Dj Evil Dee, Dj Z from Dj Booth, OG Ron C, Matt Sonzala, Dj Envy, Dj Scream and more, the film chronicles the importance of Djs in the world hip-hop. He brought in Core Dj’s founder Tony Neal as a co-producer in 2012. The film will debut in Atlanta, August 2013 at Mixshow live.
