|After premiering in Dallas to rave reviews, The Core DJs and presenting sponsors Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, and Perfect Music Records present MixShow Live Atlanta (formerly The Core DJs Retreat) August 10th – 13th at The W Buckhead. The interactive conference will descend upon Hotlanta, bringing an array of educational, networking, and socializing opportunities to the city for its loyal following.
Building on the success of the inaugural event, MixShow Live Atlanta plans to offer attendees more than ever. With education and empowerment as the focal point of the conference, MixShow Live will feature the first ever “Power Programmer’s Panel,” where attendees can learn (among other things) how to get their music heard on the radio directly from some of the most powerful radio PDs. Other notable workshops scheduled include “The Business of the Music Industry Panel,” and “DJ Power Panel” featuring DJ Drama, Kay Slay, The Baka Boyz, Chris Coleman, and The Derrty Boyz.
This installment of MixShow Live will also include showcases presented by return promotional partner Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes. Other scheduled events include a bowling tournament hosted by Hip Hop legend Big Boi, The Core Models Annual Pool Party presented by DigiWaxx and Nuvo, Platinum Producer Dumma Boy & DJ Kay Slay (Hot 97/Shade 45/Founder of Straight Stuntin’ Magazine) Official Birthday Celebration, and The Grand Opening of Atlanta’s newest after-hours social club, Sweet Auburn Lounge, with more events to be announced in the coming weeks. Finally, the conference will see the resurgence of “Model Boot Camp” hosted by The Core Models. This portion of the conference will include specific offerings and workshops for models only.
MixShow Live represents the evolution of the Core Retreat, and feature MixShow Live Interactive Hub. Beyond serving as a display space for all media and sponsoring brands, MSL Interactive Hub will be the home base for our live streaming, exclusive celebrity interviews and behind the scene’s access, live radio station/media broadcasts (traditional, satellite, and Internet) and various initiatives.
