Today, hip-hope lost a pioneer. It was today that the hip-hope world lost Robert Davis aka Dj Screw.

Known for his unique technique of slowing down music to match the effects that Codeine has on a person has become one of the most copied things in music.

Leader of the Screwed Up Click, Screw was responsible for introducing the music world to the likes of Lil Keke, Fat Pat, Big Moe and more.

Rick Rubin and others have been known to respect Screw and his contributions to music.

Many interviews and documentaries have been made about Screw since his passing.
