— — — Drake released the posthumous Aaliyah track “Enough Said” earlier this week amid rumors that it was possibly the precursor to a full-length project. No one seemed to be able to confirm or deny that a new Aaliyah album was forthcoming, and Timbaland, the superproducer who crafted some of the late singer’s biggest hits, said that he didn’t think there should be a posthumous album if he wasn’t involved.
Aaliyah’s brother, Rashad, posted on her Facebook page that there is no such album coming–at least not one that is endorsed by her family.
