In a candid conversation with Billboard.com released today, Chinara Butler, widow of legendary rapper Chad “Pimp C” Butler, addressed the inflammatory statement released by her step-sons Chad Jr. and Corey Butler. The statement attacked Mrs. Butler’s character and the integrity and authenticity of the new album “Long Live The Pimp.”
In the statement released last week, the pair denounced the album and stated that they would not financially benefit from the album. In her interview Mrs. Butler made it very clear that all of his children will benefit album, as the publishing for the project is directed to The Estate of Chad Butler/ASCAP (as listed in the album credits). Mrs. Butler also provided letter of direction, signed by all the children and their guardians, that send their percentages to directly to them (see below).
