I feel blessed to know who Ronnie Fields is. When I was a youngin growing up with a hoop dream, I remember reading about a kid named Ronnie Fields. The 6’3” guard from Chicago’s Farragut high school could jump out of the gym. His athleticism was unmatched by anyone else on the prep or college level. When it came to air time, the only person you could compare him to was someone else who was in Chicago at the time, Michael Jordan.
After playing a year with Kevin Garnett, Fields dissapeared off the radar for a while. For those who didn’t get the chance to see Ronnie Fields hoop, then you’re in luck. Fields is close to releasing a documentary on his life. You’d do yourself a service if you check out his story, “Bounce Back.”
