I had the pleasure of seeing an early screening of Snoop Lion’s documentary, “Reincarnated” a few weeks ago in Atlanta. The film was great and really showcased the growth of Snoop as an artist and man over the years since he’s broke into the industry. The film was primarily about his move to Rastafarianism and his attempt to learn more about the culture by immersing himself in the culture. To do this, he took a trip to Jamaica where he recorded music, reached out to legends like Bunny Wailer and took a tour of the hoods. One hood in particular, the notorious Tivoli Gardens in West Kingston, known as the hometown of international drug kingpin Dudus embraced Snoop with open arms. Check out a clip of his trip through Tivoli Gardens and check out “Reincarnated” when it hits theaters March 15th.
