Trick-Daddy1

Trick Daddy made headlines after it was reported that he and YMCMB head man Lil Wayne had a confrontation at King Of Diamonds in Miami. It was rumored that Trick took offense to some comments that Wayne had about Miami.

Since then, Trick has made several threats aimed Wayne’s way. Recently, Trick took it to radio to speak about his issue with Wayne, how the beef came about and more.

Lil Wayne sure knows how to say that he’s not a fan of the Miami Heat. Aside from his rant earlier this year where he pointed out the fact that he may or may not have slept with Chris Bosch wife, his feelings about the Heat have been known. Weezy is not a fan.

To further prove that he is not a fan, he went out to party with the team that the Heat are currently playing in the play-offs. Wayne and members of the Chicago Bulls were pictured partying it up in Miami after the team lost to the Heat. I’m not sure who we should be upset with? Wayne for hitting the club with Miami’s nemesis, or the Bulls for hitting the club after getting drubbed?

There’s been a lot of talk about whether hip-hop could ever get with an openly gay rapper? While the jury is out (really pun intended) on whether or not the ultra-masculine world of hip-hop could deal with an openly gay rapper, it seems like many in the entertainment world are at least entertained by the idea.

According to AHH G.O.O.D music crooner, John Legend is in the middle of production of a reality show that focuses on the life of an undercover brother in hip-hop. He is rumored to be working on an HBO show centered on Miami’s party scene. In the show, there is supposed be a rapper character that is in the closet.

The emcee in question isn’t ready to come out of the closet and has to deal with a culture that doesn’t readily accept homosexuality. The rumored show won’t only deal with the rapper. The show also features sports figures, models and rich people as well. If this show comes out, lets see how that goes.

So Miley Cyrus is officially a hip-hop star. The former Disney star partied hard in Miami for her birthday. Present and accounted for that night were her new BFF Lil Kim, Pharrell, as well as Jennifer Hudson. According to Perezhilton she was also smoking up a cigarette storm as well!

If she was smoking Newports, then she’s all the way on the darkside now.

MMG’s resident Dj, Sam Sneaker was one of many that took offense to Lil Wayne’s comments about Miami and their favorite sons, The Miami Heat. After Wayne’s rant on stage this past weekend in Houston during All-Star weekend, Sneak took to twitter to voice his anger with the YMCMB frontman. Check out some of his tweets. Not sure how Ross and or anyone else in MMG will feel about this.

The un-official Mayor of Miami, Luke “Uncle Luke” Campbell has seen his fare share of wars in his rap careers. Whether he was taking shots from other artists over the music he made, or from politicians, Luke managed to keep himself floating. Luke recently reached out to fellow Miami artist, Rick Ross.

Since he was shot at last week, Uncle Luke felt like he needed to have a come to Jesus meeting with the MMG head honcho. Take a look at what Luke wrote

Dear Rick Ross:

As someone who survived several rap beefs, I’m going to give you some advice. You need to seriously address the threats and attempts on your life. You have worked hard to become a big name in hip-hop. You’ve paid your dues and you’ve grown lyrically since the release of your debut album, Port of Miami, in 2006. You’ve arrived, buddy.

But all this gangster bullshit is jeopardizing your career. No club or arena is going to risk people getting shot. You can forget about doing any tours or CD signings. And if you can’t make money, watch how fast Warner Bros. Records turns on you. I know from experience how venues and the music industry would like to black ball you.

Check out footage of Lil Wayne rapping his verse from “Love Me” at LIV nightclub with Mack Maine and DJ Stevie J on stage in Miami, Florida back in November, 2012.

This footage was filmed two months before Weezy F Baby released the I Am Not A Human Being II single, so some parts of the verse are different to the version we all have now.
