After serving a one year term for a weapons charge , Ja Rule was released from prisonn this afternoon only to be moved to a federal prsion to serve 4 months for tax evasion.
The Murder Inc stars lawyer Stacey Richman told MTV news: “He completed his state sentence, but the state and federal sentences were running concurrently and there is an overage on the federal one. He still owes time on the federal charge.” After Ja finishes his 4 month sentence, will still owe the federal government over $1 million in back taxes.
