For the last few years, Washington Redskins fans had to watch as their team comes up short each season. You’ve heard excuses like quarterback issues, coach issues and owner issues cited for why the team can’t get out of its way.
Redskin’s defensive end Jason Hatcher has one of the best excuses ever. According to Hatcher, it’s the refs and their issue with the team’s name that is what’s really holding up progress.

I don’t know. When you let Cam Newtown and the Panthers run all over the field on you, the refs and their hatred for the team name wouldn’t really have an impact.
